Description

Frame off restored 1980 FJ40.The body is super straight and the paint job is the nicest you will see,egg shell base coat/clear coat paint that was color sanded and buffed to a wet glass shine finish! The interior is rhino lined and the Dakota leather interior is unbelievable!Everything was removed from the body when painted and re-assembeled with stainless steel hardware. No rust or grim on the bottom of this FJ ,you could eat off of it!Fresh small block Chevy 350 with auto trans(Advanced Adapter),2.5 Old Man EMU Suspension lift with new 285/75R16 Nitto AT Tires(32").Power steering and Power disc brakes all the way around, this baby stops on a dime and does not pull left or right like many do!New wiring, reclining bucket seats, full roll cage, black steel wheels, factory spare tire rack with full size spare.Turns every head in town when I drive it and has more power than you will ever need!Fiberglass top is new and rhino lined also.all new glass and rubber seals.New stainless steel brake lines and not a oil leak anywhere!Heavy duty radiator with a trans cooler and electric fan.Ok now the bad, wipers do not work, crack on dash(I have a dash pad)cracked shifter boot(have a replacement)I installed new mufflers but it looks like header has a few leaks(I would install manifolds instead of headers as they will last longer)Speedo cable is broken(I can hear it ticking behind dash)Besides these small things this FJ is perfect.I am selling because I am moving to a house with no garage,it has to sell or go into storage.I also have a 67 I need to move.As you know this would be a expensive build if done from scratch!Have plenty of pics. This vehicle really needs to be seen in person to appreciate the paint, interior and everythin else!
Thanks
Ben
